'This will be one for the books’ is an eclectic indie rock album by the band, We Landed on the Moon! It’s a sealed, new record with a pristine jacket.
This quintet band had their start in Baton Rouge, LA in 2006. Their debut self-titled album provides an excellent, cohesive listening experience that shares a strong influence from artists like ‘The Cranberries’ and Natalie Merchant, while still having their own distinct sound. (A few of my own favorite tracks are Lovely and Mourning Dance)
‘This one will be for the books’ was their last album release in 2011, subsequently disbanding. It makes you wonder if the title was a bit of foreshadowing...
This album has not been released on any streaming platforms. Which is why it’s such a unique experience on vinyl!
